It’s Time to Pray!

Greetings Again Friends!
In light of all that’s going on, it’s definitely time to pray!

The gift of direct and intimate conversation with God is a privilege that shouldn’t be trivialized or taken for granted. Having audience with the King of kings, in His presence and at His footstool, is a gift to be treasured.   “Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.“  Hebrews 4:16 NIV

Prayer enables us to pour out our hearts to the trustworthy Counselor
.
Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7

Prayer gives us hope because we know God is listening. The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. Psalm 34:17 I love the Lord because He hears my prayers and answers them. Psalm 116:1  TLB

Knowing that God is in control and loves us beyond measure bring peace to our souls.
You (God) will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.  Isaiah 26:3 NIV   Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don’t forget to thank him for his answers. Philippians 4:6 TLB

What’s on your heart today? The California fires? Flooding & hurricanes? Social unrest?
Loss of lives & property? The upcoming election? Jobs & finances? COVID 19?
Personal issues & more?

Please keep praying! God is listening!
And in the same way—by our faith—the Holy Spirit helps us with our daily problems and in our praying. Romans 8:26a TLB

Charles Stanley says to,“fight your battles on your knees.”

…if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14 NIV

God bless your days ahead with an extra portion of His strength and peace.

In Christ always,
     Carole
