Blessings Again in Our Lord!
There is certainly much to pray about as we daily hear of the continuing challenges in our country and around the world. The pandemic is gradually diminishing but now, there are thousands of new immigrants to pray for and many threats to the fundamentals of our United States Constitution.
At the same time, the beauty of Spring is emerging and there is no better time to grow our relationship with Jesus, our Lord! His promises for strength, wisdom, peace, and joy are still in place. His love never fails. Never!
Take time now to reflect on the basics for being our Lord’s faithful follower.

LORD, Your will in my life.
How easily we can make decisions without first asking our heavenly Father for guidance. Remember our Lord’s prayer: “your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” Matthew 6:10
Nothing more
The Apostle Paul explained to the believers in Corinth that Jesus supplies all our needs. “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” 2 Corinthians 12:9
Nothing less
Expect God’s best!
“Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life.” Psalm 23:6
“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us” Ephesians 3:20
Nothing else
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6
“May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love and Christ’s perseverance.” 2 Thessalonians 3:5
Let’s pray: Thank you, Father God, that You are the anchor in our lives when the waves hit hard. You calm the seas of our hearts and we are truly grateful. With each day ahead, we look forward to newness of life in You. Amen.
